The TPS7B7701QPWPRQ1 device is a high-voltage low-dropout regulator (LDO) that uses single- and dual-channel current sensing. It is suitable for a wide input voltage operating range from 4.5V to 40V (45V load dump protection). The device uses a single coaxial cable with 300 mA per channel to power the active antenna’s low-noise amplifier. Each channel provides an adjustable output voltage from 1.5 to 20 V.
The TPS7B7701QPWPRQ1 device uses a reverse-polarity diode and does not require an external diode. The product has short-circuit protection of the output battery, reverse current protection and standard thermal shutdown. Each channel provides internal inductive clamping protection for the output during inductive switch off periods.
