The ATXMEGA32A4U-AU device is an 8/16-bit AVR® microcontroller from Microchip. It features 32 KB self-programming flash program memory, 4 KB boot code section, 4 KB SRAM, 1 KB EEPROM, external bus interface, 4-channel DMA controller, 8-channel event system, and throughput of up to 32 MIPS at 32 MHz .
Low power consumption and high performance make the device suitable for a wide range of applications, such as construction, industry, motors, circuit boards, and climate control. There are also handheld battery applications, factory automation, power tools, CVC, networking, metering, major appliances, optical and medical equipment, and more.
