The LP8867QPWPRQ1 device is a highly integrated, low EMI LED driver. The device has a DC-DC converter. The DC-DC converter supports boost and SEPIC modes of operation. The LP8867QPWPRQ1 device has four or three high-precision current sinks that can be combined for higher current capability.
The DC-DC converter has an adaptive output voltage control based on the LED forward voltage. This feature keeps power consumption to a minimum, in all situations.
The LP8867QPWPRQ1 device provides an input voltage of 4.5-40 V for vehicle start-up and load dump conditions. It has a variety of fault detection functions.
