The NCV1117ST50T3G device is a low leakage (LDO) forward linear voltage regulator from ON Semiconductor. The device delivers over 0.1A of output current over the specified operating temperature range. It has a maximum drain voltage of 1.2 V when the current is 800mA.
The device comes with multiple protection features: output current limit, safe operating area compensation, and high temperature shutdown. At the same time it is also able to operate at a high voltage of 20V.
