The DRV8702QRHBRQ1 device is a small, single H-bridge gate driver. It uses four external N-channel MOSFETs and is designed to drive a bidirectional brushed DC motor.
The DRV8702QRHBRQ1 device uses smart gate drive technology. It does not require external gate components (resistors and zener diodes) while protecting the external FETs.
To avoid any shoot-through conditions, the smart gate drive architecture optimizes the dead time. It is flexible using programmable slew rate control to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). It also has active and passive pulldowns to prevent any dv/dt gates from turning on.
