los MBRS140T3G is a surface mount Schottky power rectifier with a molded epoxy case. It uses the Schottky barrier principle in large-area metal-silicon power diodes. The most advanced geometries have epitaxial structures with oxide passivation and metal capped contacts. Ideal for low voltage, high frequency rectification or as freewheeling and polarity protection diodes in surface mount applications where compact size and weight are critical to the system.
