Das MCF5282CVM66 device provides advanced communication functions, a rich set of peripherals and a wide range to support a variety of software development. The processor core consists of two independent pipelines, which are decoupled by instruction buffers. The two-stage Instruction Fetch Pipeline (IFP) is responsible for instruction address generation and instruction fetching. The instruction buffer is a first-in-first-out (FIFO) buffer used to hold prefetched instructions waiting to be executed in the operand execution pipeline (OEP). OEP consists of two pipeline stages. The first stage decodes the instruction and selects the operand (DSOC).
